Hi, I’m Nina. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in San Diego, CA, and I want to support your change.
What is getting in the way of that change? Are you feeling depressed, anxious, stuck in patterns of catastrophizing, rumination and negativity?
Our thoughts and feelings can become very familiar, habitual ways of being in the world. They are so habitual and familiar that we have a hard time thinking a new thought or feeling a new feeling.
It’s not easy to slow down, be really present with yourself and try something new.
I offer online therapy in San Diego and throughout California for individuals who are wanting support in breaking old patterns and experience what’s on the other side.
I work best with individuals who relate to the following:
- Anxiety
- Uncontrollable worry or rumination
- Depressed mood
- Are highly sensitive
- Have a harsh inner voice/mean self-talk
- The tendency to blame oneself when things go wrong
- Either very rigid boundaries or very poor boundaries
- Engage in unhealthy coping skills

Healing means being able to engage with our world from a more loving, whole and grounded perspective.
I offer therapy sessions online to adults in San Diego and throughout California.
In order to heal, we must be willing to look at all the ways our life isn’t the way we want it to be: from thoughts, to beliefs, to feelings, to actions, to habits, to situational factors.
Usually at the core of dysfunction, we are holding onto a belief about ourselves or the world which feels limiting or oppressive.
Working with both mind and body is essential for uprooting and changing these beliefs, leading to new behaviors, and ultimately, to new relationships with ourselves, others, and the world.
In addition to talk therapy, I use a myriad of techniques such as meditation, self-compassion practices, and guided imagery to help you heal.
